Job summary

Highland Pediatrics in Southeast Tennessee is seeking a Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) to join our patient care team. You will deliver compassionate, evidence-based care, perform screenings, assess risks, educate patients, and coordinate treatment plans for diverse populations using modern technology.

You will document health histories and vital signs, obtain consent, follow guidelines and state laws, and collaborate with physicians to ensure safe, effective care and clear patient communication in

Qualifications

Associates of Science in Nursing and 1 year clinic or acute care nursing experience.
Registered Nurse license in TN upon hire.
Basic Life Support (CPR) certification within 14 days.

Responsibilities

Perform general nursing care following established standards and procedures.
Obtain patient consent and maintain confidentiality.
Document health history, chief complaint, vital signs and risk factors; assess disease condition.
Provide patient care per guidelines, standards of care, and laws/regulations.
Administer prescribed treatments and medications; monitor progress and patient response; consult physicians as needed.
Educate patients and families about health status, maintenance, and management of conditions.
