Job summary

Nemours Children's Hospital in Orlando, Florida, is seeking a full-time CICU Registered Nurse to join our Comprehensive Cardiac Care Unit. This role offers clinical complexity, strong team support, and opportunities for professional growth within a mission-driven organization.

We provide a $10,000 sign-on bonus (requires minimum two years' specialty experience), tuition reimbursement up to $5,250 annually, relocation assistance, and a $3,000 employee referral bonus to eligible staff.

Qualifications

• ASN required.
• BSN preferred.
• Active Florida RN license required.
• Minimum six months' RN experience; pediatric or cardiac experience preferred.
• National specialty certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill pediatric cardiac patients in the CICU.
• Perform comprehensive assessments and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with cardiology, cardiac surgery, respiratory therapy, and multidisciplinary team members.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, procedures, medications, and treatment plans.
• Maintain documentation in the electronic health record and participate in quality improvement activities.
• Support professional development and mentorship for peers.
