Job summary

Seattle Children's is seeking a Charge RN to lead patient care on the unit each shift, coordinating nursing processes and ensuring safe, timely care for all ages. The role emphasizes planning, organization and collaboration with staff, patients, and families.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current Washington State RN License.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers is required.
• PALS/PEARS accepted in lieu of BLS.
• Charge Nurses in specified units must obtain PALS within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and deliver safe and timely patient and family care for all patients on the unit during each shift.
• Apply nursing process to oversee and coordinate patient care for the unit.
• Communicate effectively with staff, patients and families across all ages.
