Qualifikationen

• Education: High School Diploma required.
• Minimum 1 year in a medical office providing direct care to pediatric patients or up-to-date Medical Assistant Certification.
• Excellent patient relations and strong communication skills.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Compassionate, able to work with diverse clients.
• Ability to multitask and work well in a team.
• Fluent English; Spanish bilingual preferred.
• Ethical conduct per CCIECC policies and laws.
• Proficient in obtaining vital signs for newborns, infants, and toddlers.

Aufgaben

• Provide direct patient care under supervision, including EKGs, injections/immunizations, vision/hearing tests.
• Chart all patient information in the EMR.
• Identify critically ill patients and inform a provider.
• Assist with follow-up and other tasks as needed.
• Keep exam rooms stocked and clean; manage paperwork (scanning, filing, faxing).
• Prepare and administer vaccines per indications.
• Work with MCIR program and vaccines for Children (VFC).
• Collaborate with Family Health Center staff and leadership.
