Pediatric Specialty Care in Lancaster, PA is seeking a compassionate Housekeeping Aide to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for children and families. You will work evenings, support clinical teams, and contribute to high quality care.

You will perform room cleaning, terminal cleaning after discharges, and sanitize high-touch surfaces daily, while restocking supplies and interfacing professionally with staff, residents, and visitors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds to 4 feet and carry weight for 2 feet.
• Must read/write/speak English at an intermediate level or higher.
• Experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain resident rooms, restrooms, and common areas.
• Perform terminal cleaning after room transfers or discharges.
• Sanitize high-touch surfaces daily to support infection control.
• Wet and dry mop floors and use proper safety signage.
• Clean furniture, fixtures, walls, and windows; organize supply areas.
• Restock housekeeping carts and maintain organized supply areas.
• Respond to emergency housekeeping needs as needed.
• Interact respectfully with residents, families, staff, and visitors.
