Job summary

Exceptional Care for Children (ECC) is hiring a Housekeeping and Laundry Aide for full-time work, typically 40 hours weekly. Schedules may run Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday, 8:30am-5:00pm, at a pediatric care facility.

The role involves maintaining environmental sanitation, laundering linens, restocking supplies, and adhering to infection control policies in a residential pediatric setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in laundry, housekeeping, custodial field, environmental services, or long term nursing facility preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Environmental Sanitation.
• Don PPE.
• Follow infection control precautions.
• Prepare cleaning solutions as written.
• Clean equipment and stock supplies.
• Handle and launder soiled linens.
• Clean floors, sinks, bathrooms; dust and disinfect surfaces.
• Replenish supplies and ensure hand sanitizers are available.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Collaborate with team and follow directions during emergencies.
