Job summary

Inova Health System is expanding its pediatric cardiovascular sonography team and hiring at all levels. PRN, part-time and full-time roles are available across multiple sites in the Virginia/DC area. Full-time roles offer a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance.

Qualified candidates will have ARDMS RDCS or CCI certifications appropriate to Echo or vascular specialties, and BLS. Hospital-based experience as a sonographer is preferred, with education from an accredited program in diagnostic

• ARDMS RDCS Certification or CCI RDCS/RVS (Echo) or RVT/RVS is required.
• BLS certification at start is required.
• Graduate of an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program or five years of hospital/healthcare training.

We are continuing to expand and grow! Inova is looking for Pediatric Cardiovascular Sonographers, all levels, to join the team! We have PRN, Part-time and Full-time positions available across multiple sites. Full-time positions are eligible for a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance.

Cardiac Sonographer 1 Minimum Requirements:

• Certification - Basic Life Support upon start; Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer ARDMS Registered with RDCS Certification or CCI Registered with certification for Vascular or Registry eligible and must obtain within one year; RCS Certification for Echo, or ARDMS with RVT or CCI with the RVS within one year of hire
• Licensure - None required
• Experience - Recent experience in a hospital/healthcare environment as a sonographer or sonographer student.
• Education - Other Sonography Graduate of an accredited school/program of diagnostic medical, setting., sonography or five years specialized training in a hospital/healthcare.

Cardiac Sonographer 2 Minimum Requirements:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school/program of diagnostic medical sonography or five years of specialized training in a hospital/healthcare setting.
• License: ARDMS Registered with RDCS Certification or CCI Registered with RCS Certification for Echo, or ARDMS with RVT or CCI with the RVS Certification for Vascular.
• Certification:Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association
• Experience:One year of experience after acquiring registry in a hospital/healthcare environment in the performance of cardiac or vascular sonography care setting.

Cardiac Sonographer 3 Minimum Requirements:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school/program of diagnostic medical sonography
• License: ARDMS Registered with RDCS Certification or CCI Registered with RCS, Certification for Echo, or ARDMS with RVT or CCI with the RVS, Certification for Vascular. Sonography or five years of specialized training in a hospital/healthcare
• Certification:Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association
• Experience:Three years or more of experience in a hospital/healthcare environment in the performance of cardiac or vascular sonography.

Preferred Experience:

• Pediatric Cardiology
