We are expanding and growing. Inova is looking for Pediatric Cardiovascular Sonographers— all levels—to join our team. PRN, part‑time and full‑time positions are available across multiple sites. Full‑time positions qualify for a sign‑on bonus and relocation assistance.

Minimum Requirements

Cardiac Sonographer 1

• Certification: Basic Life Support on start; ARDMS Registered with RDCS, or CCI with vascular/registry certification—must obtain within one year. RCS for Echo, or ARDMS with RVT or CCI with RVS within one year.
• Licensure: None required.
• Experience: Recent experience as a sonographer or sonographer student in a hospital/healthcare setting.
• Education: Sonography graduate of an accredited program or five years of specialized training in a hospital/healthcare setting.

Cardiac Sonographer 2

• Education: Graduate of an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program or five years of specialized training in a hospital/healthcare setting.
• License: ARDMS Registered with RDCS, or CCI with RCS for Echo, or ARDMS with RVT or CCI with RVS certification.
• Certification: Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association.
• Experience: One year after obtaining registry, performing cardiac or vascular sonography in a hospital/healthcare setting.

Cardiac Sonographer 3

• Education: Graduate of an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program or five years of specialized training in a hospital/healthcare setting.
• License: ARDMS Registered with RDCS or CCI with RCS for Echo, or ARDMS with RVT or CCI with RVS certification for Vascular.
• Certification: Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association.
• Experience: Three years or more of experience as a sonographer in a hospital/healthcare setting performing cardiac or vascular sonography.
