Qualifications

• Surgical experience preferred, will train motivated candidates.
• At least two to five years of clinical experience preferred.
• Primary care, acute care, and/or surgical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Function as a skilled first assistant in complex congenital cardiac surgeries.
• Perform various inpatient postoperative procedures.
• Participate in surgery consultations, preoperative clearance appointments, postoperative visits.

Strong computer skills in Electronic Medical Record

Education

Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program

NCCPA certification
