Job summary
Nemours Children's Health in Jacksonville, Florida is seeking a Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant to join our team to support pediatric cardiothoracic and cardiology services. The PA will perform direct patient care under the supervision of a Cardiothoracic Surgeon, with focus on inpatient care and coordination across multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional pediatric care.
Eligibility includes a Master's degree in PA studies, Florida PA license, and PA-C preferred, with 3–6+ months of
Qualifications
- Master's degree in physician assistant studies from an accredited program.
- Current licensure as a Physician Assistant (PA) in the state of Florida.
- Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) preferred.
- Inpatient APP experience strongly preferred
- BLS from the American Heart Association
- 3-6 + months of experience as an APP required
Responsibilities
- Perform direct patient care under the direction of a cardiothoracic surgeon.
- Assist with overall care of children receiving cardiothoracic and cardiology services.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
