Job summary

Nemours Children's Health in Jacksonville, FL seeks a Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant to join our pediatric team. You will perform direct patient care under the supervision of a cardiothoracic surgeon and help manage children receiving cardiothoracic and cardiology services.

Qualifications include a Master’s in PA studies, current FL PA license, PA-C preferred, inpatient APP experience preferred, BLS, and 3–6+ months of APP experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Physician Assistant (PA) in the state of Florida.
• Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) preferred.
• Inpatient APP experience strongly preferred.
• BLS from the American Heart Association.
• 3-6+ months of experience as an APP required.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care services under the direction of a cardiothoracic surgeon.
• Assist with the overall care of children receiving cardiothoracic and cardiology services.
• Support the team in perioperative and postoperative pediatric cardiothoracic care.
