CHRISTUS Children's, a world-class 240-bed freestanding children's hospital in San Antonio, serves as a focal point for pediatric services throughout the community. In 2013, CHRISTUS Health finalized an agreement partnering with Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) to recruit, employ, and oversee physicians and advanced practice providers at CHRISTUS Children's.

The Division of Cardiology in the Department of Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine has an opening for a full-time pediatric cardiology faculty position at CHRISTUS Children's. This position comes with a faculty appointment within the department of pediatrics, a competitive salary, and full benefits package. The candidates' credentials and experience will determine the rank of the academic appointment
Clinical duties include patient care responsibilities and outpatient clinic at CHRISTUS Children's. Faculty teaching responsibilities include direct clinical supervision of medical students, residents, fellows, and other students in related fields (e.g., nursing students, dietary students, pharmacy students), who observe the physician directly in both the inpatient and outpatient settings.
