Job summary

Sanford Health in Fargo is seeking a pediatric cardiologist to join a hospital-based, academically affiliated program. The department includes a team of pediatric cardiologists and sonographers offering advanced imaging and interventional support.

The role involves collaboration with UND’s Department of Pediatrics for teaching medical students and residents, and participation in regional echocardiography and outreach clinics across North Dakota and western Minnesota.

Responsibilities

• Hospital consults and reads performed during on-call shifts.
• TTE and fetal echocardiograms interpreted by in-clinic congenital sonographers.
• Regional echocardiograms and ECGs read by cardiologists across ND and western MN.
• Outreach clinic sessions schedule 8–10 patients with pediatric sonographers.
• Advanced imaging includes congenital TEE, CT angiography, and cardiac MRI.
• Joint clinical faculty appointment with UND Department of Pediatrics for teaching.
