Job summary

The University of Virginia Department of Pediatrics, Division of Cardiology and UVA Children's Hospital seek a full-time, open track, Assistant, Associate or Full Professor with expertise in non‑invasive imaging (transthoracic, transesophageal, and preferably fetal echocardiography) with potential consideration of Echocardiography Laboratory Director for qualified candidates.

Candidates must have an MD or DO and be board-eligible or board-certified in pediatric cardiology.

Qualifications

• MD/DO required and board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatric Cardiology.
• Clinical imaging expertise in transthoracic and transesophageal imaging.
• Fetal echocardiography experience desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Imaging-focused clinical duties in the pediatric cardiology service.
• Inpatient general pediatric cardiology coverage.
• Teach medical students, residents and pediatric cardiology fellows.
