Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Serve as attending physician in the Echocardiography Laboratory.
• Perform transthoracic, transesophageal, 3D-echo, strain, fetal and cross-sectional imaging.
• Contribute to scholarship in non-invasive imaging and teach learners at multiple levels.
• Support cardiac clinical educational programs for sonographers, medical students, residents, fellows, and nursing.

Job description

The University of Washington, Department of Pediatrics is accepting applications for three positions at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in the Non-Invasive Imaging program. This position involves serving as an attending physician in the Echocardiography Laboratory at Seattle Children's Hospital, performing a wide range of non-invasive cardiac imaging modalities (including transthoracic, transesophageal, 3D-echo, strain, fetal, and cross-sectional imaging), significant scholarship activities focused in non-invasive imaging, and supporting cardiac clinical educational programs for sonographers, medical students, residents, fellows, and nursing.
