The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Minnesota Medical School seeks a Division Director of Pediatric Cardiology for a full-time academic role at Associate Professor or Professor rank. Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent terminal degree with pediatric cardiology training.
• Board Certified in Pediatric Cardiology by the ABP.
• Minnesota medical licensure eligible and DEA certificate.
• Minimum 5 years post-fellowship clinical experience in pediatric cardiology with leadership roles.
• Strong scholarly productivity and commitment to academic medicine.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Division of Pediatric Cardiology and co-direct the Pediatric Heart Center.
• Provide up to 70% clinical care for various cardiovascular disorders in children and adults with CHD.
• Oversee clinical, research, and educational activities and teach students, residents, and fellows.
• Collaborate with hospital leadership and affiliate institutions to optimize care delivery and research.
• Pursue scholarly work with potential externally funded research and academic time.
• Foster partnerships across pediatric and adult medicine to support lifelong care.
• Engage with UMN Foundation for philanthropy and manage donations.
