Job summary

Qualifications

• Nursing Assistant I certification required/licensed.
• BCLS certification must be maintained/completed.
• Pre-employment Physical Capacity Testing may be required.
• Ability to document and communicate pertinent information using EMR and paper records.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients, equipment and supplies for procedures and provide manual assistance as required.
• Take and record vital signs and I&O, and document changes for RN/LPN.
• Assist with admission, discharge and transportation of patients.
• Provide direct patient care under RN/LPN supervision and support unit coordination.
• Perform clerical tasks in the patient care information system and maintain patient charts.
