Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health McLane Children's Medical Center in Temple, TX is recruiting a full-time Pediatric Cardiologist with added training in imaging (CT/MRI/TEE). The candidate will join a team of four pediatric cardiologists and help build the heart center’s future growth.

The role includes teaching medical students and residents, performing and interpreting ECGs and echocardiograms, and providing care across several hospitals in Central Texas.

Qualifications

• Fellowship-trained pediatric cardiologist required for full-time employment.
• Additional training in imaging (CT/MRI/TEE) preferred.
• Experience in management of postoperative cardiac patients and ICU/cardiology service is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Teach medical students, residents, sonographers and nurses.
• Perform, supervise and interpret ECGs, Holter and echocardiograms across multiple hospitals.
• Support growth of the pediatric heart center and collaborate with Baylor College of Medicine.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient pediatric cardiology care in Central Texas, including fetal and neonatal cardiology.
