Connecticut Children’s is the state’s only dedicated children’s hospital and a pediatric-specific healthcare system. As an academic affiliate of the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and the state’s first accredited comprehensive care center for adults with congenital heart disease, the hospital boasts a state-of-the-art fetal care center and a pioneering fetal cardiology program. Connecticut Children’s is actively seeking a Pediatric Cardiologist with specialization in advanced non-invasive imaging.
The selected candidate will leverage cutting-edge imaging technologies, including a 3.0 Tesla MRI, an upcoming 1.5 Tesla MRI, and specialized CT scanning equipment, to deliver outstanding diagnostic and therapeutic services. This role involves clinical duties, educational engagements, and the potential to lead research initiatives aimed at advancing pediatric cardiovascular care.
Education and Experience: MD or DO with Board Certification or Eligibility in Pediatric Cardiology, licensed in Connecticut, with formal training or extensive experience in pediatric cardiac non-invasive imaging (ECHO, MRI, CT). Prior post-training experience is preferred but not required.
Position level (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor) will depend on experience and contributions.
