Job summary

UNC Health is seeking a Board Eligible/Certified Pediatric Cardiologist to join our multi-specialty practice in Wilmington, NC. The physician will provide pediatric and fetal care in communities throughout southeastern NC, join UNC Children’s Heart Center, and hold a UNC School of Medicine faculty appointment.

Primary focus on outpatient care with some inpatient consultation; teaching responsibilities and participation in faculty meetings are included.

Qualifications

• Board certification in pediatric cardiology or eligibility.
• MD license to practice in North Carolina.
• DEA and BLS certification.
• English language proficiency required.
• Prefer prior experience in pediatrics.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient pediatric cardiology care with some inpatient consultations.
• Fetal echocardiography expertise preferred.
• Teach UNC School of Medicine students and Novant residents.
• Participate in faculty meetings and case management conferences virtually with Chapel Hill.
