Job summary

The University of Oklahoma's Division of Cardiac, Thoracic and Vascular Surgery seeks a pediatric cardiac surgeon, assistant professor, to support our pediatric and adult congenital cardiac surgery practice in Oklahoma City.

Responsibilities include operating, postoperative care, transplant harvesting, and active participation in educational activities. Close mentorship will occur in all aspects of pediatric heart surgery; Oklahoma licensure is required with ABTS credentials or eligibility.

Qualifications

• MD degree and license to practice in Oklahoma to be obtained.
• Fellowship training in pediatric cardiac surgery from an accredited institution.
• Board certification or active eligibility by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery.

Responsibilities

• Operate on pediatric and adult congenital cardiac cases.
• Provide postoperative care and participate in educational activities.
• Participate in transplant harvesting as needed.
• Engage in mentorship and teaching within the division.
