Qualifications

• Two years experience as a cardiac ultrasound sonographer or completion of a one year certified cardiac ultrasound course.
• Two years experience as a vascular sonographer or completion of a certified vascular sonographer course.
• Two years experience as a pediatric cardiac sonographer or completion of a certified pediatric sonography course.
• One year experience as a Fetal ECHO sonographer or completion of a certified Fetal ECHO sonography course.

Responsibilities

• Performs M-Mode with calculations and 2-D procedures with all necessary views and calculations.
• Performs Doppler echo with analysis and documents data for adult, pediatric and neonate patients.
• Performs peripheral vascular studies including arterial and venous Doppler, segmental pressures and carotid ultrasound.
• Precepts new staff members and mentors other staff as needed.
