Job summary

Akron Children's in Ohio is seeking a pediatric critical care medicine physician to join our PICU team. The role includes caring for medical, cardiothoracic surgery and ECMO patients in a 45-bed PICU, with a level 1 trauma center.

Qualifications include MD/DO, board eligibility/certification in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine, plus fellowship in cardiac critical care and Ohio medical license; exciting recruitment incentives and generous vacation/CME.

The Hospital is a level 1 trauma center, and the intensivists serve as the medical control physician for a large regional transport service.

Requirements include MD or DO degree, board eligibility/board certification in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine, additional fellowship training in cardiac intensive care medicine and the ability to obtain an active medical license in the state of Ohio.
