Job summary

UNC Health Care in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, seeks an experienced PCICU nurse to join a new 13-bed Pediatric Cardiac ICU. You will care for acute pediatric cardiac patients and their families, across a range of medical and surgical cases, with cross-training and paid didactic time.

The role offers shift rotations (3 x 12-hour shifts, 36 hours/week) and opportunities to advance clinical knowledge within a supportive, interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in North Carolina is required.
• BNLS/ACLS certifications acceptable as applicable.
• Experience in acute pediatric/ICU care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent clinical nursing care in PCICU per standards.
• Coordinate and deliver patient care with nursing process in hospital setting.
• Participate in education, evaluation, and care planning.
• - Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for complex cases.
