Job summary

PSCFL seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Critical Care unit to plan, deliver, and document patient care using nursing processes. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, evidence-based, and family-centered care for pediatric cardiac patients.

Responsibilities include medication administration, comprehensive assessments, and accurate charting in the EMR. You will participate in rounds, support quality standards, and on-call coverage as required.

Qualifications

• RN license in Florida or eNLC in good standing.
• Active BLS/CPR and ACLS within required timeframes.
• PALS and other pediatric certifications preferred.
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and document the care plan with other disciplines.
• Administer and monitor medications per policy and six rights.
• Conduct head-to-toe assessments and wound care as needed.
• Collaborate in daily care planning rounds with the multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate electronic health record documentation.
• Communicate with patients/families about plan of care.
• Ensure patient safety and support service excellence.
• Float to units as needed and participate in on-call per policy.
