A prestigious medical center in Durham is seeking a Pediatric Cardiac Hospitalist. The position requires providing care in a specialized stepdown unit for pediatric patients with cardiac conditions. Position Details:
Duke University Medical Center is hiring a Pediatric Cardiac Hospitalist to join faculty physicians and APPs working in the Pediatric Cardiac stepdown unit. Position includes fourteen 12-hour shifts per month from 7a-7p. Shifts will include weekday and weekend shifts, shared equitably among providers. Candidates early in their career or finishing their Pediatric, Med-Peds, or Family Medicine residency and interested in a gaining additional experience in Pediatric Cardiology and/or Hospital Medicine are encouraged to apply. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside stellar faculty and providers focused on providing world-class pediatric cardiac care within Duke Health?s 202-bed Children?s Hospital.
Unit Details:
Duke?s Pediatric Cardiac Stepdown Unit is a 17-bed unit staffed by Cardiology faculty, Pediatric Cardiology fellows, and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). Hired physician will provide direct patient care services for pediatric patients aged 0-21 with acute, complex, and chronic cardiac conditions under the supervision of Pediatric Cardiology faculty.
