Qualifications

• Graduate from a formal approved and accredited Cardiac Sonographer program
• 12 months of training/evaluation for pediatric cardiology studies concurrently or successively at the discretion of the Medical Director of the Pediatric Echo Lab
• National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International upon hire
• National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography upon hire
• National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer - Adult Echocardiography upon hire
• National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer - Fetal Echocardiography upon hire
• National Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - Fetal Echocardiography upon hire
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire

Responsibilities

• Capture pediatric cardiac ultrasound images from fetal to adult congenital patients with skill and compassion
• Collaborate with cardiologists, surgeons, and intensivists to inform critical clinical decisions
• Support high-stakes STAT studies and procedures in the operating room as needed
• Mentor and train future peers to maintain high-quality imaging and patient care
• Demonstrate commitment to quality, teamwork, and family-centered care
