Job summary

ORLANDO HEALTH ARNOLD PALMER HOSPITAL FOR CHILDREN in Orlando, FL seeks an experienced cardiac sonographer with ACHD and pediatric echocardiography expertise for day shift (Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM) with rotating call on weekends and holidays, inpatient and outpatient settings.

The role involves performing noninvasive and invasive studies, collaborating with providers, and training student sonographers, delivering high-quality images and documentation within a nationally recognized pediatric

Qualifications

• Pediatric echocardiography experience: 2+ years.
• Adult echocardiography experience: 1+ year.
• Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
• ARDMS/CCI credentials required or eligible (RDCS/RCS/AS/RCCS).
• Competence in ten listed echocardiography/vascular exams.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competency in routine noninvasive and/or invasive cardiology and/or vascular ultrasound diagnostics.
• Operates and maintains ultrasound equipment with high-quality imaging.
• Works independently with guidance in complex situations and documents findings.
• Interprets clinical data and collaborates with providers on patient care.
• Supervises student sonographers and participates in training.
• Performs patient positioning, history collection, and accurate documentation.
