Job summary

Cook Children’s Health Care System in Prosper seeks a compassionate sonographer focusing on pediatric cardiac imaging. You will perform detailed echocardiography studies, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and support patients across inpatient, outpatient, and outreach settings.

The role includes on-call duties nights, weekends, and holidays, with a schedule of Monday–Friday and varying hours. Requires BLS and pediatric echocardiography credentials timeline.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of a cardiac ultrasound program preferred.
• 1 year of pediatric echocardiography experience preferred.
• BLS certification required; credentialed as RDC or RCSC with CCI within 2 years.
• RDCS with ARDMS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography on neonatal, pediatric and adult patients.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality cardiac imaging.
• Work in inpatient, outpatient and outreach clinic settings.
• On-call responsibilities during nights, weekends and holidays.
