Job summary

Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville seeks a Pediatric Cardiac Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide general, regional and monitored anesthesia care for pediatric cases, with a $50,000 signing bonus and relocation incentive available.

You will evaluate patients preoperatively, collaborate with the attending anesthesiologist to create an anesthesia plan, monitor responses, and mentor student nurse anesthetists while ensuring safety and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited/approved CRNA.
• TN RN and CRNA certification; ability to obtain license within 90 days.
• Experience in pediatric anesthesia is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide general, regional and monitored anesthesia care for scheduled and emergency pediatric procedures.
• Evaluate patients preoperatively and formulate anesthesia care plans with the attending anesthesiologist.
• Supervise and mentor SRNAs; ensure patient safety and high-quality care.
