Indiana University Health and Indiana University School of Medicine are seeking an additional Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care Intensivist to join Riley Children's Health.

The Division of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at Riley's operates a state-of-the-art 42-bed PICU and a 23-bed CVICU with ECMO and VAD support; the successful candidate will join IU School of Medicine faculty as assistant or associate professor with dual employment with Indiana University Health Medical Group.

Qualifications

• Completion of pediatric residency.
• Completion of pediatric critical care or pediatric cardiology with an extra year of CVICU fellowship.
• Board Eligible/Board Certified in Pediatric Critical Care and/or pediatric cardiology.

Job description

Indiana University Health and Indiana University School of Medicine is seeking one additional Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care Intensivist to join the Division of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at Riley Children's Health and the Department of Pediatrics.

Riley Children's Health is nationally ranked in all 10 pediatric specialties. Riley Children's Health boasts a state-of-the-art 42-bed pediatric intensive care unit and a 23-bed cardiovascular critical care unit (CVICU), where the Division of Pediatric Critical Care provides care to critically ill infants, children, and adolescents. The PICU has approximately 3000 admissions per year and the CVICU admits about 650 patients annually. The Cardiac ICU provides state-of-the-art care including ECMO and Ventricular Assist Device support.

The Division of has a robust academic portfolio including an active PCCM fellowship program and a 4th year Cardiac Intensive Care fellowship as well as a wide array of translational and clinical research activity.

Our current group of critical care physicians is a dynamic and diverse group with a commitment to academic development and research while continuing the mission of delivering world class health care. The successful candidate will join IU School of Medicine faculty as assistant or associate professor with dual employment with Indiana University Health Medical Group.
