Job summary

Intermountain Health Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City is seeking a Pediatric Critical Care APP to join the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit team. You will deliver high-acuity pediatric cardiac care from newborns to early teens, collaborating with surgeons, cardiologists, and the care team.

The role requires Utah PA licensure, board certification, and DEA license, with a rotating schedule that includes days/nights; a comprehensive benefits package and CME allowance are provided.

Qualifications

• Utah PA license and board certification required.
• Utah State CS license and DEA certificate required.
• PALS and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage critically ill pediatric cardiac patients in CICU.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate care plans with physicians and team.
• Perform high-acuity procedures within scope and privileges (ETT, chest tube).
• Participate in ECMO and mechanical circulatory support management.
• Communicate with families and coordinate care across specialties.
