Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services in Albuquerque, NM seeks a BE/BC Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiology Physician to join our growing team. The role includes anesthesia for pediatric cardiac and general surgery, plus cath lab cases for ages 0-18.

Candidates must complete a Pediatric Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology Fellowship and ABA board certification, hold an MD/DO, and have at least three years of pediatric cardiac anesthesiology experience.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with Pediatric Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology Fellowship completed.
• ABA board certification in pediatric anesthesia.
• Minimum three years of pediatric cardiac anesthesiology experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage all pediatric surgical cases (general, cardiac, ENT, GI) and cath lab cases 0–18 years.
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluation of pediatric patients undergoing surgery or diagnostics.
• Collaborate with congenital heart program to ensure safe perioperative care.
