Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services in Albuquerque, NM seeks a BE/BC Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiology Physician to join our growing team. You will participate in the care of high-risk pediatric cardiac patients for non-cardiac surgery and cardiac catheterizations, with a team of two congenital heart surgeons, two mid-levels and one full-time anesthesiologist dedicated to this service line.

The role includes managing 4-5 cases per day, 8-hour shifts, and a 1:3 call schedule, with a strong emphasis

Qualifications

• Must hold an M.D. degree or equivalent
• Completed Pediatric Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology Fellowship
• ABA board certification required

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia for pediatric cardiac and non-cardiac surgeries and cath lab procedures (ages 0–18)
• Participate in pre-anesthesia evaluation of pediatric patients
• Care for high-risk pediatric cardiac cases in general operating rooms and cath lab
