Job summary

Wolfson Children’s Hospital in Jacksonville, FL, is seeking a Mental Health Technician for its Pediatric Behavioral Health Unit. This full-time night position runs 7:00 pm to 7:00 am and requires CPI, BLS, and a high school diploma.

You’ll support safety, comfort, and therapeutic environment under the RN, document observations, and assist with admissions, discharges, and milieu supervision. Prior Behavioral Health experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• BLS certification required.
• CPI certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care with safety, comfort, and therapeutic environment under RN guidance.
• Document patient observations and communicate condition to team.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and milieu supervision; participate in patient education groups.
