Job summary

Cook Children’s Medical Center in Fort Worth is seeking a Mental Health Technician to provide direct, compassionate care to young patients in the psychiatric unit. You will support treatment plans and help maintain a safe, therapeutic environment.

You will assist in crisis intervention, teaching, and group therapy, with on-call rotations as needed. A solid work history in behavioral health and child-focused experience is preferred; paid training covers CPI, Heartsaver CPR, and CSC SCM within 60

Qualifications

• Experience in behavioral health or psychiatric settings preferred.
• Experience working with children aged 3–12 years preferred.
• CPI Crisis Intervention training completed or completed within 60 days of start.
• Heartsaver CPR completed within 60 days of start date.
• CSC SCM training completed within 60 days of start date.

Responsibilities
