Job summary

Saint Luke's Crittenton Children’s Center in Kansas City is seeking a part-time night shift RN to support our pediatric behavioral health program. Two 12-hour shifts, 1900-0730, provide an opportunity to contribute to high-quality care on a night team.

This role emphasizes independence, leadership within the unit, and acting as a clinical resource for new staff while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support children and families.

Qualifications

• Associates degree; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1–2 years of related experience, preferably in mental health.
• Must be team oriented.

Responsibilities

• Functions independently and accountable for utilizing the nursing process.
• Coordinates the care for a group of patients with the Multidisciplinary Team.
• Delegates tasks appropriately.
• Identifies hospital resources.
• Serves as a clinical resource for new employees.
• Demonstrates positive formal or informal leadership within unit or department.
