Job summary

Children’s Wisconsin seeks a licensed behavioral health professional to provide care within a team-based model for children and families facing acute and chronic mental health needs. You will work alongside physicians, social workers, nurses, and psychiatrists to deliver evidence-based therapy, risk assessments, and safety planning.

The role requires a Wisconsin-licensed social worker or equivalent, with strong collaboration skills and experience working with diverse pediatric populations.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in a clinical field (Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage & Family Counseling or related).
• License or credentialing as Social Worker, Clinician, or Psychologist per Wisconsin requirements.
• Experience: 2 years post-licensure; or 2 years supervised experience plus 3,000 hours may be considered in lieu of licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide behavioral health services within a team-based care model.
• Assess and treat patients, perform risk assessments, develop safety plans and provide therapy.
• Collaborate with medical providers, social work, nursing, psychiatry, and community partners.

Education

Master’s Degree in Social Work, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Marriage & Family Counseling or related field

PhD or PsyD from an APA-accredited program

3000 hours post Master’s experience
