Job summary

SIU Medicine seeks a licensed clinical psychologist to provide outpatient psychological services to children and adolescents within the Division of Developmental‑Behavioral Pediatrics & Psychology, and to participate in program development and teaching for medical students and residents.

The incumbent will contribute to research, quality improvement, and interprofessional collaboration, while upholding professional standards and patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• > Doctoral degree in psychology (clinical, school, or counseling).
• > Post‑doctoral training or supervised clinical experience.
• > Licensure or license‑eligibility as a Clinical Psychologist by Illinois.
• > Experience with children/adolescents; sensitivity to underrepresented populations.

Responsibilities

• > Provide outpatient psychological evaluation, therapy, and consultation for children and adolescents.
• > Teach and supervise medical students, residents, and trainees.
• > Participate in department meetings and program development; engage in research and QI activities.
