The role you’ll contribute:
Britain Development is an early intervention program for children from birth through six years of age with special needs. The Pathways Program is an early intervention program within Britain Development that is specifically designed to serve the needs of young children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
The Pediatric Behavior Technician, under the supervision of the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), is responsible for conducting individual and group treatment to assist children in developing maximum cognitive, social, self-help, communication, and motor skills. The Technician will assist the BCBA, teachers, and therapists in various settings, working closely with parents and other professionals. Responsibilities include maintaining a clean and hygienic environment, organizing data and children’s programs, and supporting the center’s operations.
The Pediatric Behavior Technician demonstrates leadership and a commitment to professional accountability and growth. Serves as a role model for the mission, vision, and values of AdventHealth Shawnee Mission.
