Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation in Sparta, MO is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to deliver one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism. Under BCBA supervision you will teach new skills and support behavior modification in a supportive, family-centered environment.

This part-time role offers an intense PAID training program, mentorship, CEUs through Medbridge, and visa sponsorship/relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• 18 years old with a HS Diploma or GED.
• Passion for working with neuro-divergent children.
• Reliable transportation.
• Completion of 40 hour Registered Behavior Technician training; training provided if needed.
• Willingness to obtain RBT certification through BACB.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism under supervision.
• Ensure billing is submitted accurately and documentation supports services.
• Update availability in the EMR platform and communicate changes.
• Communicate with Client Advocate and Supervisor about assigned clients.
• Adhere to BACB ethics and professional standards.

We offer an intense PAID training program to become a Behavior Technician where you will learn how to implement Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) Therapy. Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), the Behavior Technician (RBT) will use ABA techniques to encourage, support, and challenge these children to reach new milestones through teaching new skill acquisition and behavior modification.

Responsibilities:
The Behavior Technician is responsible for delivering one-on-one ABA therapy services to children with autism. Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, the Behavior Technician will encourage, support, and challenge these children to reach new milestones by teaching new skill acquisition and behavior modification.

RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Works 1:1 with a child in performing ABA therapy, following the guidance in the behavior treatment plan and under the direction of a supervising clinician.
• Ensures all billing is submitted in a timely fashion and the documentation accurately supports the services rendered.
• Updates working availability in the EMR platform and communicates availability changes with their Client Advocate.
• Communicates regularly with Client Advocate and Supervisor as it relates to assigned client(s).
• Complies with and follows the BACB code of ethics as it relates to service delivery and professionalism.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Qualifications:

• 18 years old with a HS Diploma or GED.
• Passion for working with children, especially those with neuro-divergent behaviors.
• Minimum 1 year working with children.
• Reliable transportation.
• Completion of 40 hour Registered Behavior Technician training. If training has not been previously completed, training will be provided by Powerback Pediatrics.
• Willingness to obtain RBT certification through BACB. Posted Salary Range: USD $18.00 - USD $22.00 /Hr.
