Powerback Rehabilitation to You in Kansas City is seeking a Behavior Technician (RBT) to deliver one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism under the supervision of a BCBA. The role includes accurate documentation, billing duties, and keeping an open line of communication with the Client Advocate and supervisor.

The position offers a part-time schedule with a clear pathway to clinical mentorship, free CEUs through Medbridge, and visa sponsorship options.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a HS Diploma or GED.
• Passion for working with children, especially those with neuro-divergent behaviors.
• Minimum 1 year working with children.
• Completion of 40 hour Registered Behavior Technician training or training provided by Powerback Pediatrics.
• Willingness to obtain RBT certification through BACB.

Responsibilities

• Works 1:1 with a child in ABA therapy under supervision.
• Ensure billing is submitted timely and documentation supports services.
• Update availability in the EMR platform and notify Client Advocate of changes.
• Communicate with Client Advocate and Supervisor regarding assigned clients.
• Adhere to BACB ethics in service delivery and professionalism.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Responsibilities

The Behavior Technician is responsible for delivering one-on-one ABA therapy services to children with autism. Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, the Behavior Technician will encourage, support, and challenge these children to reach new milestones by teaching new skill acquisition and behavior modification.

• Works 1:1 with a child in performing ABA therapy, following the guidance in the behavior treatment plan and under the direction of a supervising clinician.
• Ensures all billing is submitted in a timely fashion and the documentation accurately supports the services rendered.
• Updates working availability in the EMR platform and communicates availability changes with their Client Advocate.
• Communicates regularly with Client Advocate and Supervisor as it relates to assigned client(s).
• Complies with and follows the BACB code of ethics as it relates to service delivery and professionalism.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Posted Salary Range

USD $18.00 - USD $22.00 /Hr.
