Job summary

Metro Therapy, Inc., a Powerback Pediatrics company, is seeking a BCBA-certified ABA Therapist to provide evidence-based, instructional services for pediatric clients per IFSPs in the New York area. The role involves conducting evaluations, tracking progress, and coaching parents to implement strategies during daily routines.

Qualified applicants hold a BCBA certification, state licensure if required (LBA), a Master's in ABA, and complete BACB supervision coursework.

Qualifications

• Must have BCBA certification and be in good standing with the BACB.
• Must hold a license (LBA) in the state of practice, if required by state regulations.
• Masters Degree from an accredited program in ABA Therapy or a related field.
• Completion of the BACB 8-hour supervision course.
• Certification or eligibility to provide Special Instruction through the New York State Early Intervention Program.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence based, ABA Special Instruction Services in accordance with children's IFSPs.
• Performs evaluations and ongoing assessments and tracks child progress.
• Provides parent coaching and teaches strategies that promote skill development during daily routines.
• Participate in IFSP meetings, team meetings, and case conferences.
