Job summary

University of Minnesota Physicians in Minneapolis is seeking a psychologist to perform comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological evaluations for children and adults with autism spectrum concerns. You will provide written and oral feedback to families, schools, and other providers to guide treatment and education planning.

The role includes potential treatment groups, supervision of trainees, and active participation in team conferences and outreach activities.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Psy.D. in clinical psychology, school psychology, or counseling psychology from an APA and/or CPA accredited program.
• Internship training and minimum 1-year post-doctoral training in pediatric psychology or neuropsychology is required.
• Licensed or ability to acquire clinical license in Minnesota and credentialing/privileges.
• Strong diagnostic skills and ability to train in ADOS/ADI-R reliability.
• Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication, and computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform psychological and neuropsychological evaluations of children and adults with suspected or diagnosed autism.
• Provide feedback to families, schools and other providers regarding results and education planning.
• Potential opportunities for treatment groups and supervision of trainees.
• Participate in team conferences and consult with providers both on and off site.
• Engage in outreach activities and seminars as part of professional service.
