Children’s Mercy Kansas City is seeking an Audiology Extern for a full-time 12-month position. This entry-level role provides medical audiologic services under the direct supervision of a licensed CMH audiologist.

Qualifications

• Completion of third year and current enrollment in fourth year of an accredited AuD Program with which CMH&C has a current university affiliation agreement. and No Experience necessary / On-the-Job Training
• Completion of third year AUD program Required Upon Hire

Responsibilities

• Under supervision and in accordance with certification and licensure standards, performs and documents diagnostic and rehabilitative audiologic procedures to evaluate, diagnose and treat hearing disorders in children.
• Obtains education, training, and instruction needed to acquire the skills to function independently.
• Participates in activities to increase the quality, efficiency and outcomes of patient care.
