Job summary

Children’s Mercy is seeking an Audiology Extern for a 12-month, entry-level placement designed for fourth-year AuD students. The extern will provide medical audiologic services under supervision, handling diagnostic and rehabilitative procedures for children.

Qualifications

• Fourth-year enrollment in an accredited AuD program.
• No experience required / on-the-job training.
• Completion of third year AUD program required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, performs and documents diagnostic and rehabilitative audiologic procedures for children.
• Gains education and training to function independently.
• Participates in activities to improve quality and outcomes of patient care.
