Job summary

Children's Wisconsin seeks a pediatric audiologist to evaluate and manage hearing health for children referred to the Audiology Program. You will determine hearing levels, identify sites of damage, and guide rehab plans. The role includes prescribing and fitting hearing aids, counseling families, and maintaining records.

You will collaborate with physicians, speech-language pathologists, and educators, and contribute to ongoing education and research in pediatric audiology.

Qualifications

• Involves pediatric audiology evaluations and hearing aid considerations.
• Experience with newborn or pediatric hearing assessments preferred.
• Ability to counsel families on rehabilitation needs and device use.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients referred to Audiology using pediatric-appropriate tests.
• Prescribe and dispense hearing aids; train patients and families.
• Document initial status and progress; maintain clinical records.
• Collaborate with physicians, speech pathologists and other clinicians.
• Mentor students and participate in departmental education.
