Job summary

Connecticut Children’s, a pediatric health system, is seeking a licensed audiologist to provide comprehensive clinical services for birth to young adults. The role includes assessment, diagnosis, and management of auditory-vestibular disorders, amplification fitting, and collaboration with a cochlear implant team.

Responsibilities emphasize careful documentation, patient and family counseling, and working with therapists and physicians across departments to support pediatric hearing health.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or Au.D. in Audiology required.
• Pediatric audiology experience and amplification dispensing experience required, preferably in a medical setting.
• Connecticut Audiology License or eligible; CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Administer and interpret behavioral, physioacoustic, and electrophysiologic measures of auditory-vestibular function.
• Select, fit, verify, dispense and validate amplification devices; provide counseling and training.
• Collaborate with cochlear implant team on candidacy and post-implant care.
• Provide information and training on auditory-vestibular function to other professionals.
• Work with Otolaryngologists, Primary Care Providers, Developmental Pediatricians and educational programs; ensure documentation.
