Job summary

Seasons Within LLC is seeking a Pediatric Art Therapist to work in our Oak Park, IL office. The clinician will provide art therapy for children 3–12, conduct family sessions, and offer parenting support within a trauma-informed, anti-racist framework.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in Art Therapy (MAATC) and an unrestricted Illinois LPC/LCPC license, with at least two years of relevant experience and the ability to work in person in Oak Park.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Art Therapy or equivalent.
• Licensed in Illinois as LPC or LCPC (full, unrestricted).
• Minimum two years of experience with children in mental health or related settings.
• Experience providing parenting support and collaborating with families.
• Commitment to trauma-informed, socially just, and anti-racist practice.
• Ability to work in person in Oak Park.

Responsibilities

• Provide art therapy for children ages 3–12 and family sessions.
• Integrate theory and evidence-based approaches into practice.
• Assess clients for outpatient treatment fit and develop initial plans.
• Maintain a consistent caseload and complete documentation.

About the Role:

We’re seeking a clinician who brings creativity, curiosity, and a strong grounding in clinical theory to their work. This role is ideal for an art therapist who enjoys collaborating with families and providingparenting support and psychoeducationas part of the therapeutic process. We value clinicians who are reflective, open to feedback, andcommitted to supervision and continued learningas part of their professional growth.

This position is for a therapist to see clientsMondays (3–8 PM)andSaturdays (9 AM–3 PM)in person at our Oak Park office.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide art therapy for children ages 3–12, as well as family sessions and parent consultations
