The University of Washington School of Medicine, Department of Anesthesiology & Pain Medicine at Seattle Children’s Hospital is seeking pediatric anesthesiologists at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor level. Start date anticipated February 2027 or later, with commitments to research, teaching and service in a diverse academic community.

Positions are full‑time or part‑time for a twelve‑month appointment.

Qualifications

• Must have an MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent).
• Minimum of one‑year fellowship training (or foreign equivalent) in pediatric anesthesia.
• Board certified or eligible (or foreign equivalent) in anesthesiology and eligible for medical licensure in Washington.
• USMLE steps completed or equivalent; visa sponsorship not available for part‑time positions.

Responsabilités

• Teach residents, fellows, medical students and the clinical care team.
• Provide pediatric anesthesia services.
• Join UW faculty for teaching, research and service.
• Appointments are 12 months (July 1–June 30) with potential multi‑year terms at higher ranks.
